Fond\u00e9 en 1942, le CAM de Bordeaux Cyclisme est un club embl\u00e9matique du Sud-Ouest, connu pour son esprit \u00ab\u00a0familial\u00a0\u00bb et sa sp\u00e9cialisation dans la piste. La famille Lesbats a marqu\u00e9 l\u2019histoire du club : Charles cr\u00e9e la section, et son fils Ren\u00e9, dit \u00ab\u00a0B\u00e9bert\u00a0\u00bb, la d\u00e9veloppe dans les ann\u00e9es 50\/60 avec des coureurs comme Michel Gonzalez. Sous les couleurs des Meubles Bayle, des cyclistes comme Andr\u00e9 Grand et Robert Peyran se distinguent.<\/p>\n
Dans les ann\u00e9es 70, sous la direction de B\u00e9bert Lesbats, une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e9merge, notamment Alain Lesbats, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Agostini, Bruno Bannes, Michel Cortinovis et Daniel Pandel\u00e9. Ce dernier devient vice-champion du monde junior en 1979 \u00e0 Buenos Aires, et Michel Gonzalez d\u00e9croche la m\u00e9daille de bronze sur le Kilom\u00e8tre. Daniel continue sa carri\u00e8re en \u00e9quipe de France jusqu’en 1992, participant aux Jeux Olympiques de Barcelone.<\/p>\n
Dans les ann\u00e9es 90, le club est soutenu par le sponsor IVECO. Les fr\u00e8res Dominique et Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric P\u00e9r\u00e9 se font remarquer aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Daniel Pandel\u00e9, notamment lors des Six Jours de Paris, Grenoble et Bordeaux. Au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000, apr\u00e8s des d\u00e9parts de dirigeants, Xavier Lamontagne et Sylvain Minvielle relancent le club, d\u2019abord avec SECURITAS, puis avec CENTAURE PVC. B\u00e9bert Lesbats revient \u00e9galement au sein de la direction, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Jean-Claude Mothes.<\/p>\n
Avec le soutien de SIDER \u00e0 partir de 2010, le CAM devient le premier club fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 ouvrir une \u00e9cole de piste pour les jeunes. Cette p\u00e9riode voit \u00e9merger de nouveaux talents comme Yohan Lader, Jonhatan Mouchel, Sylvain Pandel\u00e9, K\u00e9vin Labeque, Cl\u00e9ment Barbeau et Lucas Destang, champions de France en 2012, perp\u00e9tuant la tradition du club comme formateur de champions.<\/p>\n
